17 YEARS ON THE FRONT LINES
Tony Chan founded Red Door Technologies in 2009. At the time, it was a standard IT support company helping small businesses keep their printers running and their servers online. But as the digital landscape shifted, Tony saw a darker trend emerging.
He watched as law firms, medical practices, and contractors, businesses he considered friends, were being systematically targeted by cybercriminals. He saw the devastation of a ransomware attack firsthand, and more importantly, he saw that traditional IT support was no longer enough to protect them.
THE MEANING OF THE RED DOOR
"The name 'Red Door' isn't just a brand. It's a promise."
Inspired by the biblical story of Passover, where the red mark on the doorframe signified protection and safety, Tony built his company on the principle of being "covered." In a world of digital chaos, he wanted to provide a safe harbor for business owners who just wanted to focus on their work without looking over their shoulder.
MISSION: OPERATION CYBERGUARD
In 2025, Tony published Operation CyberGuard to solve a problem he couldn't fix one client at a time. Small business owners were being overwhelmed by technical jargon and fear-based sales tactics.
